Insurance Marketing Representatives at NAICO manage agency relationships while providing superior service levels and developing new agency partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Works with Underwriting and VP of Marketing to determine suitability of contracted agent.
• Evaluates agents and maintains contact between agents and underwriters.
• Provides guidance for and assists agents with risk appetite while helping them to grow a profitable book of business with our group of companies.
• Conducts approximately 25+ office visits and conference calls with current and potential agency force and reports findings. Regular travel required to cover agents in assigned territory.
• Maintains open communication with the Vice President of Marketing regarding agency plan and call objectives, via oral or written communications.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and at least 2 years of experience in insurance marketing /other acceptable insurance capacity; or other equivalent combination of education and experience.

Driver’s license, Agent’s license. AU, CPCU, CIC, CISR, CRM and /or other continuing education is desirable.

SKILLS:

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
