Serene Home Nursing Agency, one of Long Island’s largest home care agencies, is actively seeking a Human Resources Representative to work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm in our Patchogue office. Applicant must possess strong organizational skills and a background in the health care industry is preferred.

Education/Skill Set:

* Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Management preferred*

- At least two years of Human Resources experience a must

-At least two years experience doing compliance (preferably in a healthcare setting)

- Strong organizational skills and communications skills a must

- Ability to multitask

- Computer skills a must

- Bilingual a plus

Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the employees adhere to Dept. of Health standards and rules and in-house policies as well

- Assist HR department in making sure all current employee files are in compliance

- Checking employee files to make sure all documents, licenses and Dept. of Health requirements are up to date and valid

- Tracking current employees and communuicating with them when compliance is expiring, and making sure each employee sends the required documentation in a timely matter

- Maintain electronic and hard copy employee files

- Assist HR coordinators

- Complete/orchestrate new employee orientations when needed

- Provides audit information to management by researching and analyzing data

- Supports departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data

**Salary will vary given previous experience and education**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,760.00 - $52,000.00 per year
