YAI's Human Resources department is currently seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist for New York City. The HR Onboarding Specialist will work closely with HR Managers, Assistant Directors, and Program Managers to provide support in scheduling applicants and processing and Onboarding new hires.

Responsibilities:

• Processes all new hire paperwork post offer to "hire", communicates the pipeline status to supervisors and hiring managers.
• Responsible for daily updates and communications with Primary Recruiter on candidate pipeline, and maintainence of ATS databases.
• Responsible for timely response to all general HR inquiries, audits, and requests, in a professional manner.
• Processes OPWDD Justice Center background checks; MME and SEL Clearances; SCR and CBC clearnaces;
• Responsible or input and participation in safety assessment processing.

​Requirements:

• BA/BS, related experience preferred
• Knowledge and expereince in OPWDD Onboarding regulations
• Strong presentation skills and customer service
• Human Resources experience (preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and ATS software and other platforms
• Ability to work with all levels of staff
• Must be able to travel to Manhattan for in office working hours ​

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm ( flexibility)
