American Medical Home Health Services is hiring in Seguin, San Marcos and New Braunfels, TX, and its surrounding communities! We are searching for Full Time/Per Diem Licensed Vocational Nurses to join our staff and deliver quality home care services.

Key responsibilities include:

• LVN's provide skilled nursing care to home care patients according to a Plan of Care (POC) approved by the physician under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). This position is on a PRN (as needed) on a per visit basis.
• Provide health education to patient and or caregiver.
• Follows up with physician, client, family members, staff, and RN on client problems and concerns. Maintains communication with physician including report of client condition change and accepting verbal orders.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Be a self starter with excellent communication skills, and a team spirit.

AMHHS seeks the following qualifications:

• Be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) from an approved school of vocational nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of HOME HEALTH experience.
• Current License as an LVN in the State of Texas.
• Knowledge of Wellsky(Kinnser) software preferred.
• Travel is required; must have a reliable car w/current insurance coverage and a current driver’s license.
• English/Spanish speaking required.
• Current TB Test.
• Current CPR certification.
