Texas Offline, Inc. seeks a GibbsCAM Application Engineer to add to our team!
With over 25 years in business and as the exclusive GibbsCAM reseller for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, we have been a top reseller for sales and support of the GibbsCAM product worldwide.
GibbsCAM is a production milling and turning CAM system designed to increase the efficiency of the CNC code and machine tool. GibbsCAM supports 2D to 5-axis milling, turning, multi-task machining (MTM), and wire-EDM. GibbsCAM empowers manufacturers to deliver superior parts with digital precision and speed by providing the ultimate ease of programming for any CNC machine.
Our preferred candidate will have the distinct privilege of being known as a GibbsCAM specialist in the manufacturing trade by working with a full range of companies from small machine shops to global corporations in the Aerospace, Defense, Consumer, Tool & Die, Energy, Medical, and Transportation industries.
They will have proven experience with CNC equipment and a manufacturing background with extensive GibbsCAM knowledge.
Primary Job Functions
This candidate will provide GibbsCAM assistance and technical support daily from their home office. GibbsCAM demonstrations, both online and in-person, will be required. They will also be expected to provide classroom training to GibbsCAM customers through in-person, online, and on-site classes. Post-processor development and editing will eventually be taught and required as part of their ongoing duties.
Experience and Qualifications
- five years’ experience with CNC machinery.
- 3-5 years experience with GibbsCAM.
- Working knowledge of Solid Models in GibbsCAM (provided by customers, created from design, or created from drawings) and 5-axis a plus.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work within our team, learn the necessary skill sets, and take instruction.
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups for teaching/training.
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions to a variety of audiences.
- Strong drive to achieve customer success.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willing/able to travel as required, with some overnight travel necessary.
- Post-processor knowledge is a plus!
Compensation/Benefits
- $55K – $65K – Compensation, while highly competitive, will be proportionate to our chosen candidate’s experience.
- Paid Vacation (after an initial 60-day probation period).

- We provide a computer, IP phone, and other equipment for your home office.
