A private family in Austin, Texas (Bee Caves) is seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy and professional individual to serve as a Event Server/Housekeeper for their 16,000 sf estate. Candidate will have the option of Live In or Live Out. This full-time hospitality role will be responsible for performing a variety of daily duties including, but mainly focused on events. Candidates must possess at least three years’ experience as a housekeeper, a great attitude and stellar references.

Other Staff: 1 Executive Housekeeper, 2 Full Time Housekeepers, Nanny, Landscapers, Security and Personal Chef

Responsibilities:

• Lead Server capable of running an intimate breakfast lunch or dinner
• Responsible for complete set up and breakdown of an event meal service
• Keep Hospitality manager aware of wines and alcohol used at events
• Writing simple event reports for Hospitality Manager
• Comfortable leading a small event
• Team player able to work under others at a large events
• Run errands and provide food take-out/pick-up if needed
• Upkeep and Managing Hospitality Inventory
• Organizing hospitality supplies.
• Cleaning and Upkeep of Hospitality areas.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling (mornings/evenings/+ weekends)
• Inventory and organize/manage cleaning of various hospitality linens (dry cleaners, laundering)
• Perform occasional additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Maintain a high level of performance at all times

• Ability to maintain discretion (confidentiality agreement is required)

• Develop and maintain solid working relationships with family and other team members

• Positive attitude and ability to handle responsibilities with ease and calm demeanor

Requirements:

• High energy household, lots of running around up and down stairs
• Up for challenges
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a housekeeping role. Seeking longevity (e.g., 2-5+ year commitment)
• Excellent references and background check
• Reliable and presentable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Willingness to work after hours or weekends from time to time
• Punctuality and good attendance
• Must be a US citizen and/or permanent US resident

Compensation:

• 75k+ per year
