We are looking for a driven, highly motivated, and creative Software Engineer to join our team. We focus on developing applications and services to re-invent senior care staffing by building a conduit between healthcare workers and healthcare facilities.

Job Summary: Responsible for developing both web and mobile applications under the direction of our Chief Technology Officer.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates, creates, and manages our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Build a robust and scalable web app in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Build robust and scalable software in Node, Python, Kotlin and/or Java.
• Works closely with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
• Builds collaborative relationships with Chief Officer roles as well as strategic growth teams.
• Participates in regular meetings with the back end team to expose weaknesses and problems in the API.
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
• Executes effective performance redirection when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience developing web technologies or services
• A proven track record of building applications that maintain a high bar of quality
• Strong communication skills, including experience working with product managers and business users
• Expertise in Web display technologies, particularly modern JavaScript libraries frameworks (e.g., React/Redux, Angular, Vue), CSS (including experience with SASS, LESS, and/or PostCSS), and HTML
• Demonstrated experience implementing a scalable, responsive website or web application is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of databases (NoSQL and/or relational), RESTful service architectures, and Web architecture components (e.g., NGINX, Spring Boot, Apache, etc.)
• Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting languages like Python, shell scripting, etc.
• You are enthusiastic about the high impact, fast-paced work environment of an early-stage startup

• Salary Range: $80,000-$105,000
