Full Stack Software Developer (backend) Job at Frontier Technology Inc.
Overview:
FTI is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer that is skilled in backend development to join our growing team and help support development efforts across FTI as well as various military and DoD customers. This position requires a developer to work hand-in-hand with analysts, other developers, and customer user groups. The candidate will work with both the development team and its customer to coordinate the on-time development and delivery of solutions for both internal and external customers. This position is projected to start in early June.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or in-house).
- Serve as technical expert on development projects.
- Mentor more junior developers and apply technical knowledge to guide team members on solutions.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of agile methodology, development processes, and programming languages.
- Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Programming experience with Python (Procs scripts for processing and alerting) and Golang (custom drivers needed as microservices) and/or C, C++, C#, .NET, or Java.
- Front end HTML, JS, Angular, CSS preferred
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Scripting experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience working with data stores/databases.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance.

- Experience with DoD
