Overview:

The responsibilities for this postion include and are not limited to:

The greeting of all guests, answering phone calls & emails in a timely manner. Assisting guests with questions regarding services, products. Booking of appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additionally, the Front Desk Associate assists with transitional cleaning. A Full-time position

Position Requirements:

  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask
  • Able to work effectivly without direction
  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a luxury, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Enjoys working with people and exudes a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent listenind and communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • 1/2 days on Monday and weekly shift being 9:30am-6:30pm on Tuesdays-Friday's
  • Proficiant with Apple computers and platforms
  • Mindbody POS system fimiliarity is a BONUS
  • ** Additional pay for a savvy media person, who's able to also take over social media **

Required Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record
  • Properly open and close SBHC each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Accurately books, reschedule and cancel appointments.
  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves SBHC
  • Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy
  • Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of SBHC treatments, packages, services, and hours of operation
  • Utilize SBHC computers with skill and proficiency; document guest information in electronic record as directed
  • Answer the phone promptly and uses the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation
  • Actively promote the SBHC, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
  • Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests; develop professional and personalized relationships with regular guests
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously
  • Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests in a timely manner, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area
  • Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low
  • Must be able to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for SBHC
  • Assist in all areas of SBHC operation as requested by management
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests at SBHC that require attention

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a front desk personnel or as customer service representative at a spa or salon with proven sales OR
  • Minimum of 1 year of employment within a spa, or salon industry
