Freelance WordPress Web Designer

Non-profit youth organization is seeking a skilled web developer familiar with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce. Position requires updating and maintaining existing WordPress website, including resolving errors. Work will be done following brand guidelines and with guidance from the organization's appointed representative. Ongoing, basic maintenance will be required using information and guidance from the organization.

Principle Responsibility:

· Working with the assigned organization representative(s), provide a updated, optimized website.

· On-going website maintenance as directed by organization representative(s)

Qualifications:

· Superior knowledge of WordPress, specifically while utilizing the Elementor plug-in. - 3+ years working with WordPress and Elementor

· Familiar with responsive web design

· Strong skills in website design with a focus on ease-of-use for the end-user, aesthetics, and brand guidelines are required.

· Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals

· Knowledge of internet guidelines and privacy policies

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to follow directions, receive constructive feedback, and provide feedback

· Understanding of SEO and Google keywords

· Solid understanding of we applications work; including session management, development practices, and security

· Some graphics creation may be required

· Provide updates on milestones and progress with organizational representative(s)

· Strong writing skills

Position Information:

· This is a Contract position

Compensation:

· $25 per hour

· Variable hours per month
