Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will coordinate and develop company financial analysis, short- and long-term planning, and project/cost analysis. This will involve working closely and consistently with Faculty Practice Group departments, including, Accounting, Finance, Medical Group Operations, Population Health, and the Office of Health Informatics and Analytics in order to analyze the business, identify, and recommend actions in support of company objectives, and drive financial results. We’re seeking an independent, adaptable, detail-oriented individual with: · A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a business-related field · Five or more years of experience as a business analyst/project manager · Successful experience in a job costing or activity-based costing environment · Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles · Analysis/accounting experience in a medical group or Medicare Advantage preferred · Ability to thrive in a highly-dynamic, rapidly-changing environment · Experience creating detailed reports with drill-down capabilities using large datasets from multiple sources · Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills · Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills · Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel · Scripting or programming experience desired · Experience with database, SQL and XML preferred · PowerBI / Analytics tool experience is a plus · Ability to work flexible hours and some overtime UCLA Health is a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and dozens of primary care practices, specialty practices, urgent care centers and other ancillary locations throughout metro Los Angeles as well as the David Geffen School of Medicine.
