The Field Maintenance Technician will assume the responsibility of maintaining the condition and functionality of a multi-location dental practices locations in the North Shore of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. They will perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as equipment maintenance, painting, general carpentry, light plumbing and electrical.
The ideal candidate will be a professional with a practical mind and attention to detail with previous experience in professional facilities. They should be able to work well independently and responsibly by adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Survey premises to ensure they are in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, troubleshoot outlets, etc.).
• Maintain HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Maintain and repair office equipment as necessary.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, doors, cabinets, etc.).
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, pest control etc.).
• Manage automated (email) service request system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A safety-first mindset and approach to work is an absolute must.
• Knowledge of general maintenance best practice and methods.
• General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally (50 mile radius) within an assigned region.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• Preference given to technician with previous experience in dental / medical industry or hotel maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 – 3 years in a General Maintenance Technician role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field experience is a plus.
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred but not required.
• Valid US driver's license
• The ability to lift a miniumum of 75 lbs unassisted.
