Hours: 6:45 am – 3:15 pm

We are seeking a positive and reliable candidate able to join a team that takes pride in building high-quality, industry-leading packaging equipment for some of the largest food, beverage, personal care, and pharmaceutical brands in the world! We offer outstanding hands-on training provided by an onsite mentor who will provide you with the support and encouragement you need to succeed.

Fabricator daily tasks will include:

Safety is the top priority at Barry-Wehmiller, and with this in mind, it's important that you meet the following requirements needed for this Welding Fabricator position.
  • 2 years of fabricating experience to include TIG welding, soldering, metal fabrication tools and equipment, and machine part fabrication
  • Ability to push/pull sheet metal in manual rolling equipment and occasionally lift 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work overtime based on workload


Put your unique skills to work for us, today. Along with using stellar math skills and interpreting blueprints and other schematics, here are your job responsibilities.
  • Accurately roll, form, fabricate, and weld stainless steel according to blueprints or job order
  • Rotate efficiently through the assembly process using hand tools, grinders, TIG welders, and other manufacturing tools
  • Perform painting and saw operation
  • Perform quality inspection tests to help resolve issues with any defective parts
  • Complete necessary documentation
