ABOUT THE EVENT PRODUCER ROLE

Influence Machines is an online education platform for experts with a proven track record of teaching and sharing their content. They’re frustrated, discouraged, and disillusioned by all of the done-for-you promises and the insane amount of work it takes to be an online expert.

The primary brand that we manage is Holden QiGong, which you will be producing events for.

You’re a good fit if you’re highly-organized, creative and solutions-oriented. You have an ability to handle multiple projects and moving parts. You’re assertive, proactive and can work independently to lead efforts in producing three to four events in 2023 for 200-300 people.

The successful candidate for this role will have strong industry contacts and feel confident in organizing a world-class experience and event with minimum supervision.

We’re looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can effectively lead and coordinate various partners and vendors, is extremely detail-oriented, has strong negotiation skills and can perform well under pressure and deadlines.

You will be working directly with the Holden QiGong General Manager to plan, produce and execute 3-5 number of in-person events, delivering an exceptional experience to attendees.

This is a full-time in-house position that is fully remote, PST/EST time zones are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and produce 3-5 events for 200-300 people.
• Work closely with the General Manager to execute the company’s overall event strategy while also contributing creative input and ideas throughout the process.
• Source all necessary vendors for the project effectively negotiating best terms and conditions and overseeing agreements and contracts ie. AV, F&B, transportation, printers, entertainment, etc.
• Serve as the main point of contact for and manage all vendors - bring together the various teams under clear leadership and direction to work on a cohesive vision
• Suggest and coordinate a few off-site activities like an excursion, team-building or outdoor activity and manage logistics and operations
• Work closely with hosting venue on all event details including room block, all group needs and program, F&B, agenda, private functions, etc and ensure smooth execution
• Manage event budgets, maximizing profitability
• Track against KPI’s for the events
• Create Run of Show for each event and ensure a smooth execution
• Create and oversee staffing plan on-site at events
• Serve as executive producer on-site at the live events managing all details and logistics between client, hotel, vendors, etc.
• Proactively contribute ideas and solutions to elevate the attendee experience and create a WOW impact
• Meet with General Manager and Marketing Manager as needed to discuss progress and developments and make decisions

Pay: $64,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
