Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Entry Level Operator is primarily responsible for completing a variety of basic duties regarding product quality, rework and light assembly as necessary to support general production output.
As an Entry Level Operator you will..
- Perform light industrial product review to support production output.
- Assist in assembling hoses, valves and inserts in finished cases at a predetermined frequency.
- Apply adhesives and packaging materials to finished product containers.
- Package finished product in order to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Gehl safety standards and with applicable regulatory requirements while following the company's Good Manufacturing Practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated organizational, detail orientation and observational skills
- Basic mathematical calculation skills
- Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions in the English language
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, often with limited supervision
- Ability and interest in accepting flexible work assignments and schedules as dictated by operational needs
Preferred Qualifications
- High School or Equivalency Diploma
- Previous Manufacturing, Packaging or Assembly line production experience ideally in a food, process, high-speed packaging or Form-Fill-Seal industry
- Technical knowledge of aseptic processes, equipment and products
