We are seeking a Divorce and Family Law Attorney with a book of business and/or a proven track record of successful rainmaking to become a part of our team!

• You have 10 years or more experience in representing divorce, custody, and child support clients.
• You are licensed in Maryland. The second preferred bar license is DC.
• You enjoy litigation, being in court, thinking on your feet.
• You have experience handling all aspects of your cases.
• You are as good at strategy as you are at executing efficiently.
• You are a team player who gets along with others.
• You can pick-up a case and run with it from beginning to end!

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court hearings and trial.
• Prepare well-written and well-supported arguments for pleadings, motions, hearings, or negotiations.
• Develop case strategy, evidence, trial strategy, articulable road maps for your cases.
• Gather information from clients. Advise clients about their cases and help them understand what to expect.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

​​Qualifications:

• 13 or more years in high, moderate, and low asset divorces; child custody matters, including modifications and contempt; civil protective order matters.
• Effective litigator with an excellent track record of successful outcomes.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Excellent at building case theory and strategy, and ability to negotiate.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent fortitude and stress management as needed.
• Excellent written legal research and writing skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $100.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
