Position Summary:

This newly created position at LEO is a rare and unique opportunity to define a career in brand strategy, corporate communications, creative content, and event production, for some of the biggest names in business, with an increasingly successful and significant agency.

We seek a sharp, energetic, self-motivated, “thinker and doer” who is eager to create strategic output based on the leadership and direction of the SVP of the Strategy department. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management and communication skills, and finds satisfaction in the management of deliverables for the department. Together, we will strengthen and expand Strategy – as a service to our clients and a growth engine for the company.

We will accelerate Strategy’s growth by:

  • Creating space for concentrated strategic efforts – on existing and potential new business; in sales/marketing efforts; in response to market opportunities; in support of owner initiatives; in service to our community.
  • Devising best practices, organizational systems, and SOPs that enable us to produce work product, documentation, thought leadership, and sales/marketing materials.
  • Managing our big thinking so the value and impact are multiplicative – placing our quantifiable strategic contribution in more places, more often.
  • Improving everything we touch. Hatching ideas, providing perspective, and generating materials of high quality and appropriate quantity.
  • Pouring rocket fuel in the sales tank – with smart, actionable tools and unique, intelligent responses to qualified opportunities.
  • Partnering with writers and designers to create compelling briefs and decks.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, creative, production, and account teams, every step of the way.
  • Captivating interested parties – so they don’t want to make a move without us.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of creative and strategy experience with extensive planning knowledge
  • Client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic event and marketing solutions
  • Experience across many event types (employee engagement, trade show/exhibit floor, digital, experiential, public-facing)

  • Interest and passion for technology, culture, and content
  • Excellent leadership ability to drive the team to deliver results
  • Poise and eloquence – when you speak with clients, they listen
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for clients, shows, and to LEO offices and work nights and weekends as needed

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands:

Employee required to spend a portion of time in a seated position looking at a computer screen. Employee will be required to do some standing and walking. Employee will be in a well-

lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
