Newcare of Louisville is looking to add Direct Support Professionals with at least one year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual/developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries to its team of dynamic Direct Support Professionals.
The DSPs we are currently seeking will work with up to 3 male participants in a community- based residence - supporting each participant in all areas of independent living and successful goal attainment. DSPs will mentor appropriate social behaviors, complete meal planning and preparation, light housework, medication administration, digital documenting, facilitate for community integration on behalf of program participants serviced, and other responsibilities that allow program participants to have active, full and fulfilling lives.
Scheduled hours will include evening shift (4 p.m. to midnight) with weekend work required.
