Positive Steps is a relatively young, small business in Howell. We are supportive, fun, creative and our goal is to help employees and clients alike in independence and success. Founded in April 2015, Our commitment to providing exemplary support services for people with varying physical and mental disabilities has never wavered. Positive Steps' objective is to help people take the steps needed to have a positive impact in the community. We aim to provide an environment ensuring the cultivation of adult independence. Positive Steps provides in-home direct care services for numerous Community Mental Health clients and we do our absolute best to inspire and motivate them to reach their goals at their home. The organization administers community living support services at several sites in Howell, MI.

Up to $500 in attendance bonuses available

In response to COVID-19: Please note we are actively hiring during this time. We are able to offer a virtual interview process to ensure potential candidates will remain safe. Currently paying $2.35/hour additional hazard pay included in pay scale. This amount has been budgeted for through 2022

Our schedules for those shifts run 12am-8am and 4pm-12am. This is not a facility but rather Semi-Independent living. All clients live in apartments in Howell.

Caregiver Responsibilities:
Focus on health and safety of clients

On site residential care services, based on individual plan of service

Providing a culture of independence in regards to planned goals

Maintain an exceptional record of attendance

Attention to detail with all required responsibilities

Willingness to learn company policies and processes

Caregiver preferred attributes:
Must be 18 years or older
