Dental Assistant Job at Uxbridge Dental Center
- Certified Dental Assistant
We are seeking experienced assistants (full or part time or both) for our fast paced, well established, safe and friendly dental office. We provide a wide range of family dental services that require DANB Certified Dental Assistants. We are looking for assistants who have great people skills and want to be part of our highly motivated team. Hourly range will vary from $25-$30 depending on experience and skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting the Doctor during examination and treatment of patients including oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, restorations, etc.
Demonstrates proper infection control procedures in setting up and cleaning operatories and instruments
Tray/material set up
Impression taking and pouring
Ordering supplies as necessary
Taking accurate x-rays
Four handed dentistry
Knowledge of dental office clinical equipment and maintenance/cleaning schedules for such equipment (autoclave, various low and high speed hand pieces, etc.)
Charting and record taking
Support and promote teamwork and a happy atmosphere in the office

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
