Olympic Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a high energy Customer Service Call Representative to join the team in Sequim, Washington.

Previous call center or waste experience is a huge plus!

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

The starting wage range is $18.00 to $18.75 per hour DOE.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

  • Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes & demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
  • Interact with new or existing customers over the phone, and record information in the computer for customer service billing or product information.
  • Chat with customers by phone to activate, discontinue, or change services.
  • Fill out contract forms, determine charges for service requested, collect deposits, prepare change of address records and issue discontinuance orders.
  • Deliver services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill.
  • Interact with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements and resolve problems or complaints in a courteous manner.
  • Work in a fast paced, cooperative, high call volume environment with high attention to detail, while interacting with customers over the phone.
  • Engage or assist with sales for new or additional services.
  • Prorate customer accounts based on account service changes.
  • Assist in other areas as needed


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
:

  • Ability to multitask under pressure & easily adapt as situations change.
  • Must be organized, a team player & self-motivated.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Fast and accurate typing, in addition to 10-key skills are required.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems. Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • General math skills required.
