Position Summary
Provide main assistance for sales team, internal departments, brokers, direct customers and consumers. Assist in backing up other Customer Sales Support staff. This positions is Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Hybrid work schedule potential after successfully completing all training for the position!
Primary Responsibility
- Customer Sales Support for Specific Assigned Accounts
- Work with sales person or intercompany department on a regular basis to evaluate accounts you handle for them
- Receive, acknowledge, process customer orders in Great Plains Dynamics, distribute, follow up on deadline being met for orders, coordinate any issues and bill out
- Review, update pricing and any necessary paperwork for price changes, new items, deals, etc that apply to that customer
- Review any pricing discrepancies on orders, billing, and deduction research and communicate back to customer or accounting
- Process and write up credit memos from deductions or special returns
- Review inventory levels for private label customers
- Coordinate with sales and customers for account specific deadlines and pricing
- Process and file customer specific documents through PaperSave
- Coordinate travel arrangements and planning
- Coordinate Food Show arrangements and planning
- Maintenance and other Reporting
- Pricing maintenance in Microsoft Excel and Great Plains Dynamics for price changes, new items, deals, and special promotions
- Work with pivot tables, Great Plains Dynamics, Bi360, RockySoft, IRI, and other reporting software to generate movement, sales volume, ad recap reports, profit analysis reports, open orders, sales line items and forecasting reports
- Create or generate copies of any order forms, preorders, store tags, presentation materials requested by sales with various Microsoft software programs
- Track budget line details for specified divisions as requested
- General ledger coding on assigned expenses
- Answer calls directed to sales line and assist in the help of any sales team member, customer or consumer inquiries or requests
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for each job responsibility you have
- Backup other Customer Sales Support Staff positions as needed
- May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
High School Diploma Required
Associate degree or equivalent certification program preferred
Minimum 2 years of office or inside sales experience required
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience working with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics, SPS Commerce, RockySoft, Solver BI360, and relational databases preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to multitask, be highly organized and use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
Regularly required to talk, hear and see. Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand; walk; manual dexterity; and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Minimal travel when needed
