Location: Tampa, FL

The role you’ll contribute: CT/MRI Technologist

• Demonstrate, through behavior, AdventHealth core values of Christian Mission, Quality and Service Excellence, Compassion, Focus on Community Wellness, Cultural Diversity, and High Ethical Standards.
• Performs all exams using AdventHealth CT, MRI, and X-Ray protocols. Uses AH policy for proper identification of patient prior to performing exam. Educates patient concerning exam. Properly screens patients for any contrast allergies and proper screening forms.
• Completes all exams in a timely manner, keeps workflow moving, and minimizes empty table time. Follows through after completing exam with communication and discharge of patients.
• Performs all types of imaging procedures and operates all equipment safely and properly including scanners, injectors and monitors. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients on all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology school with associate degree or certification and certificate of registry from the ARRT and advanced certification in both CT and MR (ARRT).
• 1-year experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of CT, X-ray and MRI procedures/protocols
• Knowledge of CT, X-ray and MRI scanners/equipment
• CT and XR safety including radiation protection
• MR safety knowledge/ screening
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as AGFA PACS, CT/ MR scanners, XR equipment, workstations and EMR.
