Location: Rock Spring, GA – Northwest RSAT (Residential Substance Abuse Treatment) Program. (Please note that Northwest RSAT is located in the Northwest corner of Georgia. We are located 30 minutes south of Chattanooga, we are not in Metro Atlanta, nor are we in the suburbs. It is a 1 hour and 42 minute drive to go from one way from our location to Atlanta.)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Monday-Thursday, 7:00AM-5:00 PM.

Pay rate: $19.23/per hour ($40,000annually) for non-certified/licensed and up to $23.08/per hour ($48,000 annually) for certified/licensed counselors

Highly qualified Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling services to offenders in the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) Program in Rock Spring, GA. This position also works closely with Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) staff to coordinate all program services and provide information for case management/records management.

Applicants who either have their CAC/CADAC or are currently going for their certification are strongly preferred!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous substance abuse counseling or corrections experience highly preferred.
• Must attain Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor from GACA, NAADAC, or IC/RC within 2 years of hire.
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccination or, as an alternative, appropriate documentation that will support either a medical or religious exemption."

Preferred Qualifications:

• LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor Certification from GACA, NAADAC and or ICRC.
• Correctional experience.
