Job Summary: The primary role of the Applied Behavior Analyst Case Supervisor is the development, maintenance, and supervision of applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programming for children with autism spectrum disorder. In addition, ABA Case Supervisor ensures the overall management of parents and staff members assigned to their case.

Reporting Relationship:

  • Clinical Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Supervises behavioral therapists
  • Oversees and delegates the daily work activities of the department.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding and Offboarding employees; includes orientation and training.
  • Prepare and perform employee performance evaluations.
  • Manage relationships with parents and caregivers.
  • Conduct client intake assessments and reassessments.
  • Develop and update behavior intervention plans and treatment plans.
  • Provide ABA direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Provide short term or focused interventions per competency level.
  • Modify clinical protocols based on client progress.
  • Communicate client progress with caregivers.
  • Manage and oversee the schedules of assigned clients and caregivers daily to ensure consistency in therapy.
  • Provide school and community consultations, BACB supervisions, and trainings as needed.
  • Maintain healthy therapy environment and audit-ready patient records.
  • Attend and facilitate mandatory staff meetings, trainings, and team meetings.
  • Participate in research projects, the development of new evidence-based programs and curriculum.
  • Participate in company educational and continuing education opportunities.
  • Manage and oversee planned and unplanned absences of staff and clients.
  • Assist other staff in the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
  • Operate personal vehicle when necessary to conduct company business.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain all required state certifications and licenses as noted in Education and Experience section.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, or applied behavior analysis.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in good standing for the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct ABA therapy to children with autism.
  • Valid BCBA certificate in good standing with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a BCBA treating children with autism.
  • Minimum 6 months experience training Behavior Technicians and monitoring progress.
  • Experience assisting in the development of comprehensive ABA treatment plans and program monitoring for children with autism.
  • Successful completion of 8-hour ABA supervisor training; proof required.
  • Preferred but not required:
  • Experience developing and overseeing comprehensive ABA treatment for children with autism independently.
  • Experience conducting a variety of ABA modalities such as caregiver training, group therapy, consultations, and specialized treatments.
  • Successful completion of Blossom’s supervisor training.
  • Successful completion of Blossom’s clinical leadership training.
  • Valid CPR, First Aid, and crisis behavior management certificates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccine or valid accommodation.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements in the course of working with children with challenging behavior.
  • Ability to operate computer and other office machinery.
  • Ability to be mobile as related to business needs.
  • Must be physically present at the assigned job location.
