Platform Beer Co., in Ohio City, and Phunkenship, Platform's barrel-aged sour brewing facility and bar in Cleveland's Clark-Fulton neighborhood, are relaxed and fun spaces where guests can enjoy high quality and unique craft beer, cocktails, and light food. While the starting rate for this position is $4.65 / hr. + tips, Platform guarantees a minimum $15 / hr. standard tip credit per day for all tipped positions.
Description
- Operate within a team in a taproom setting, serving beer, cocktails, and a light food menu
- Efficiently and consistently provide excellent service among a steady stream of customers
- Explain beer on tap and their unique process / properties to customers
- Ensure customers needs are met at tables, while maintaining the bar
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure they are not being overserved
- Handle problem situations strategically in order maintain positive customer experience
_ Qualifications_
- Experience as a bartender, preferably within a brew pub environment
- Solid understanding of beer compositions. Working knowledge of cocktail beverages is a plus
- Able to commit to memory and execute a specific drink menu
- Able to manage a constant flow of orders without sacrificing service or product quality as well as safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
